What you need to know!

Q: What does my room look like and do I share a bathroom?
A: All "suites" are private with self contained full 4 piece bathrooms. Each of our suites encompasses two areas, making the bedroom separate from the sitting area.

Q: Can I have my own t.v.?

A: All rooms are readied for either your cable or satellite system. Your private space is yours to do with as you like. This is your home.

Q.: Is there a telephone in my room?

A:The resident is responsible for the hook up of his/her private phone. Jacks are in each area of your suite for your convenience.

Q: Can I still drive my vehicle?

A: We have plenty of parking space available. As well, we are very fortunate to have our "handivan". Trips within our community for your shopping, and appointments can be arranged and one of our staff members will accompany you to assist in any way necessary.

With our handivan, we often go for drives to other local communities to see what is happening and enjoy a coffee or ice cream treat!

Q: Who maintains the cleaning and my laundry?

A: Our staff will encourage you to do what you feel you can; we have two laundry rooms and everyone's laundry is done separately. Our housekeeper will clean your room and maybe help you with a puzzle or two in the process!!

Q: What is the rate?
A: Hayes Haven is very competitive with care homes of it's equal. Please contact the office for the current rate.

Q: How many people live in Hayes Haven?A: 20 individuals call Hayes Haven home at the present time. Very soon, our capacity will increase to 21.

Q: What's for dinner?

A: The main meal of the day is at noon, with supper being smaller. Coffee, tea, fruit and goodies are always in our servery window for those needing something in between times.

Q: What other services are available?

A: Hayes Haven dispenses and monitors all medications. They are safely stored for everyone's security. We also provide bathing assistance and help with your individual personal care needs.
